This Payment Policy governs the terms of payment for construction estimating services provided by BZX Estimating LLC.

1. Transparent Pricing and Quotation

All service engagements begin with a detailed, written quote outlining the scope of work, estimated fees, and expected turnaround time. Fees are fixed for the defined scope. Any changes to the project scope must be agreed upon in writing and may result in an adjustment to the fee.

2. Payment Structure (Retainer and Final Payment)

Our standard payment terms are as follows:

• Retainer: A non-refundable retainer fee, typically 50% of the total estimated service fee, is required upfront before work commences. This secures your project slot and covers initial administrative and labor costs.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance (50%) is due immediately upon completion of the estimation work and before the final, detailed report is delivered to the client.

By remitting the retainer, the client agrees to the terms and scope defined in the quotation.

3. Payment Methods via Stripe

BZX Estimating LLC utilizes Stripe, a leading and secure payment processor, to handle all online transactions. This ensures the highest level of security for your financial data.

We accept all major credit cards and other payment methods supported by the Stripe platform. Please note that BZX Estimating LLC does not store or process your credit card information; this is handled entirely by Stripe.

4. Late Payments and Collection

If the final payment is not received within seven (7) days of the estimate completion notification, BZX Estimating LLC reserves the right to withhold the final documents and may apply a late fee. Unpaid accounts may be subject to third-party collection efforts.

5. Refund Policy

Due to the customized nature and immediate labor costs associated with detailed estimating, all payments, including the initial 50% retainer, are non-refundable once work has commenced.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by BZX Estimating LLC.

BZX Estimating LLC provides non-binding construction cost projections, quantity takeoffs, and related consultation services. Our estimates are based solely on the information (plans, specifications) provided by the client at the time of engagement.

Disclaimer: The final construction costs may vary significantly from the estimate due to market fluctuations, design changes, contractor bids, and unforeseen site conditions. BZX Estimating LLC is not responsible for these final variances.

2. Client Responsibilities

The Client must provide complete, accurate, and legible documentation (plans, specifications) necessary for the estimate. Delays or errors in the provided documentation may affect the estimate's accuracy and delivery timeline.

3. Intellectual Property

Upon full and final payment for the services, the Client receives a non-exclusive license to use the final estimate, quantity takeoff, and reports for the specific project for which they were prepared. BZX Estimating LLC retains the intellectual property rights to the underlying methodologies and proprietary tools used to generate the estimate.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall BZX Estimating LLC be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or lost savings, arising from or in connection with the use of our services or reliance on any estimate provided. Our liability is strictly limited to the total fees paid by the client for the specific service from which the claim arose.
